North Korea launches a ballistic missile after receiving sanctions from Washington

North Korea launched an apparently short-range ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan on Friday, the day after Pyongyang vowed to "respond" to US sanctions on individuals and companies accused of laundering money to fund North Korea's weapons program.
