A magnitude 6 earthquake shakes southern Cuba during a power outage

Cuba registered a magnitude 6 earthquake on the Richter scale early this morning, according to the Cuban National Seismological Service. The quake occurred 37 kilometers southeast of the municipality of Imias, in Guantánamo province, at approximately 12:28 a.m. (5:28 a.m. in Spain).
