Israel launches ground incursion into Deir al-Balah

The Israeli army has launched its first ground incursion into Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, after ordering its evacuation yesterday due to suspicions that Hamas may be hiding hostages. At least three Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks on homes and mosques, according to Reuters.
