France confiscates a sanctioned Russian oil tanker in the Atlantic

France has intercepted and seized a sanctioned Russian oil tanker in the Atlantic Ocean in a military operation with British support. The boarding took place about 400 nautical miles off the coast of Brittany, when heavily armed troops rappelled from a helicopter to take the ship.
