The Superior Court of the Judicial District of Bogotá ordered this Tuesday the immediate release of former Colombian President Álvaro Uribe (2002-2010) pending a ruling on the appeal of his sentence. Uribe is sentenced to 12 years of house arrest for a bribery case.
