Far Nomo: sushi with the Mediterranean at your feet
There are restaurants with proven reliability. You always eat well and they always live up to expectations. One of them is Nomo, which, since opening its first restaurant in Jardinets de Gràcia, has always been a benchmark for quality sushi and other Japanese dishes at reasonable prices. Their good work has led the three partners, the Molina-Martell brothers and chef Naoyuki Haginoya, to open new establishments without falling into the vices of large groups. They like to emphasize that, ultimately, they have always been a family business that has become more professional.
One of the most important establishments of the Nomo Group, and a huge success every summer, is the Nomo Lighthouse They have it above the San Sebastián Lighthouse, in Llafranc. Next to another good hotel and restaurant, by the way, El Far Hotel Restaurant. We return to chopsticks, soy sauce, and wasabi. If you are a regular at Nomo (either the new one they have in Consell de Cent or if you use the sushi delivery service), you will see that at Far you find a similar offering, but in a privileged setting. It is therefore important that you go with a reservation, so that you only have to worry about enjoying the views while you cut the edamame pods with coarse salt one by one. And if you don't find a spot, you can try your luck at what they have very close by, the Nomo Mar, right next to the beach. If you're spending your summer on the Costa Brava and craving sushi, look no further.
