Spain requests access to European loans to increase military spending

Spain is one of the first countries to apply for loans from the €150 billion European Defense Fund, as confirmed by the European Commission on Tuesday. Thus, the Spanish government takes another step forward in its quest to achieve 2% of GDP for defense this year.
