'The Shadow of the Wind', by Carlos Ruiz Zafón: 25 years of the novel that has 50 million readers

The Shadow of the Wind, by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, has celebrated its 25th anniversary at the Ateneu Barcelonès –very close to the now-defunct Canuda bookshop, one of the novel's settings–, recalling that the novel has been translated into 50 languages worldwide and has over 50 million readers.
