The October Awards will cease to be presented in 2025 after 53 editions.

Ediciones Tres y Quatre has announced that it will not hold the 54th edition of the Premios Octubre in 2025 due to "a complicated economic situation." Last year, the Noche de los Octubre gala was also canceled for "economic reasons" following the loss of all funding in the Valencian Community.
