The first images of Rosalía in 'Euphoria'
The artist from Sant Esteve Sesrovires debuts in the second chapter of the third season of the series as a 'pole dance' dancer
Rosalía has debuted as an actress in the series Euphoria playing Magick, a pole dance dancer in a striptease club. The Catalan singer could be seen in the second episode of the third —and final— season of one of HBO Max's major titles, which returned to the screen after a four-year wait.
The artist from Sant Esteve Sesrovires, who a few weeks ago assured that she would be heard speaking Catalan in the series, among other languages, has joined a production full of popular actors and actresses, such as Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, or Sydney Sweeney. In the images, Rosalía appears with a neck brace and discusses, mixing Spanish and English, with the club manager, the character played by Kadeem Hardison.
"You can't wear it," the club owner tells her, referring to the neck brace, because, in his opinion, the accessory is a "certified erection exterminator." "But I can make $12,000 on this lawsuit," Rosalía replies. "Let me wear it," Rosalía insists, in both English and Spanish. The singer also shares a scene with the series' protagonist, Zendaya, to whom she says "watch where you're going," after bumping into her.
Rosalía will also appear in the third episode of Euphoria, which will premiere on April 27. However, this has not been the only acting experience of the Catalan singer, as she made her debut in the world of acting with a small role in Dolor y gloria, with Penélope Cruz, by Pedro Almodóvar.
