Shakira captivates Madrid with the first concert of the Las Mujeres ya no Lloran tour

This Friday, Shakira returned to Spain to kick off her highly anticipated residency in Madrid and bring an end to the international Las Mujeres ya no Lloran tour. In this way, the Spanish capital has been tinged with the colors of Colombia to welcome the singer amidst such iconic shouts as "women no longer cry, women cash in." Both the first and the remaining eleven scheduled concerts will be held at Macondo Park, a "Shakira city" built by Iberdrola Music with more than 40 hectares of grounds.
Regarding the performance, Shakira's fans entered an hour and ten minutes later than expected and did not hesitate to express their outrage with shouts, urging the staff to open the doors or describing the events as "a scam." Nevertheless, once the thousands of fans were able to enter the space, they celebrated the artist's arrival on stage as if nothing had happened.
Boom in hotel bookings
It is expected that the 12 performances the Colombian artist will offer in Madrid will bring together nearly 50,000 fans each night, like tonight, a fact that has driven up the price of hotel reservations in the Spanish capital by up to 34%.
