Rosalía's stunning performance with Björk singing 'Berghain' at the Brit Awards
The Catalan singer takes the Brit International award and defends "different cultures, diverse languages".

The Catalan singer received the Brit Award for International Artist of the Year in Manchester on Saturday night, at a gala where British singer Olivia Dean established herself as a rising star, taking home four awards, two in the main categories of British Female Artist and Album of the Year. But Rosalía also won over the audience with an impressive performance, a rave version of Berghain with a surprise appearance by Björk. It was the first time Rosalía had performed that song live, the song that inspired the first music video from the new album, released even before the album itself. Until now, Rosalía had performed The pearl Live. This award kicks off the artist's tour, which will begin in France on March 16, land in Barcelona in April, and continue in June to Miami, passing through London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Lisbon, and Madrid.
Rosalía has made her debut at the UK's most prestigious awards, winning the Britannia Award after beating out names like Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny and Americans Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. The singer stated that it is an honor to be able to take her music beyond her home country, thanked her colleagues in the industry who "make music in Spanish," and asked for continued celebration of "different cultures and diverse languages." Rosalía, with her characteristic charm, admitted to the host, comedian Jack Whitehall, that she couldn't remember how many languages were on the album: "That's the million-dollar question. Thirteen or fourteen, I don't know anymore." When he asked her to include the Mancunian from Manchester on the next album, she replied with a "sunshine"In the style of Liam Gallagher, and she confessed to being an Oasis fan.
