Rosalía responds to criticism for not expressing support for Palestine
The singer says that "it's terrible to see innocent people being murdered every day."

Barcelona"I have followed with deep sadness what has been said these days." This is how Rosalía begins the post she shared on social media this Wednesday. Without citing him, the Sant Esteve Sesrovires singer refers to in the statements of Mallorcan designer Miguel Adrover, who explained that she rejected the commission to make a custom outfit for Rosalía because she felt the artist had not "publicly" supported Palestine and, although she acknowledges that she admires him, stressed that this silence "is complicity." Finally, Rosalía has broken her silence.
"The fact that I have not used my platform in a way that aligns with the style or expectations of others does not mean at all that I do not condemn what is happening in Palestine. It is terrible to see day after day how innocent people are murdered, and that those who should stop it do not do so," writes Among Us, "it is the best way to continue moving forward in the fight for the freedom of Palestine." I think the pointing should be directed upwards (towards those who decide and have the power to act) and not horizontally (between us)".
Rosalía, who at no point mentions Israel or uses the word genocide, ends the writing by thanking the work done by "the people who really act, such as NGOs, activists, volunteers, health workers, workers, cooperatives, associations and journalists and who dedicate their lives to helping in this cause and in many others."
