An arrow has been found embedded in a human chop dating back more than 4,000 years.

An IPHES-BÚSQUEDA team has found a flint arrowhead embedded in the rib of an adult human at the prehistoric site of Roc de les Orenetes in Ripollès. The projectile, according to researchers, is evidence of interpersonal violence among these early Pyrenean communities.
