BarcelonaFor the first time, the magazine Forbes has compiled a list of the 100 most influential women in Catalonia. The list, ordered alphabetically, was selected by a committee of experts and consultants led by the president and editor of Forbes, Andrés Rodríguez, and the president of the Forbes Women Advisory Board, Gloria Lomana. The list aims to fully represent the political, social, cultural, artistic, and sporting landscape of Catalonia.

The list includes women from all walks of life. From businesses like Rosa Tous, vice president and daughter of the founders of the well-known jewelry brand; Sol Daurella, president of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners; Anna Gener, of the real estate consultancy firm Savills; and Judit Viader, owner of Frit Ravich. Also on the list are political figures such as former Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Cristina Gallach and current Minister of the Interior, Núria Parlon. Also appearing are journalists such as the director of ARA, Esther Vera, Àngels Barceló, Helena Garcia Melero, and Joana Bonet.

As for other areas, Forbes It also highlights personalities such as the ombudsman, Esther Giménez-Salinas; the president of the TSJC (High Court of Justice), Mercè Caso; and the head of epidemiology at Vall d'Hebron, Magda Campins. From the culinary sector, it includes chefs Ada Parellada and Carme Ruscalleda, and from the cultural sector, it highlights the careers of Carmen Thyssen, Emma Vilarasau, Silvia Abril, Pilarín Bayés, Carla Simón, Aitana and Rosalía. All these women have an appointment next Tuesday at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, where a recognition gala will be held. The event will take place the day before the Forbes Catalonia Economic Summit, which will bring together business leaders and various authorities from the Catalan capital, as ARA has learned.
