The week ends with sun and an increasingly intense heat

BarcelonaThe weather has remained very stable this Saturday, with some intervals of harmless clouds and an almost absolute dominance of the sun. The temperature has risen even more, both at dawn and during the central hours of the day, and there has been a controlled but more intense heat than in previous days. In fact, temperatures have brushed 33 °C in Ponent and the interior of the Ebro valley, a situation that will repeat on Sunday.

Sunday: more heat

Sunday will remain calm and sunny, and thermometers will rise more eagerly, with more pronounced heat in the middle of the day and some maximums that will locally already reach 33 °C or 34 °C. Controlled heat, with a minimum temperature that will also clearly rise and will be tropical in many points along the coast. The fresh morning atmosphere will, therefore, be more restricted to the Pyrenees and the Pre-Pyrenees.

Mercury will peak between Monday and Tuesday

The anticyclone will maintain its dominance in our area at the beginning of next week and the temperature will rise even further, leaving a warm environment, above the climatic average for mid-September, although far from the values of a few days ago. The maximums will approach or exceed 35 °C in Ponent, the Ebro valley, and the Girona regions, with sunny skies everywhere.
