The week begins with many clouds, and rain is expected.

BarcelonaThe weekend was marked by abundant cloud cover, although there was no significant rainfall anywhere. This situation will be repeated, practically identical, on Monday, with the added factor of more suspended dust brought by a pocket of cold air settling between the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa. This same pocket will bring rain between Tuesday and the end of the week, although it remains to be seen where and how heavy the rain will be.

Monday: Time doesn't cleanse

A calm start to the week, still with quite a few clouds. Low clouds will dominate during the morning, while as the day progresses, high and mid-level clouds will also arrive, moving from south to north. In fact, it will be this cloud cover that will begin to bring some rain to the Valencian Community. The temperature will remain stable, although it will rise slightly in the west and north of the country, especially in the Pyrenees, which will be the sunniest area.

Tuesday: first showers

Cloud cover will increase on the second day of the week, resulting in significantly overcast skies and precipitation across much of the country. The heaviest rainfall is expected in the two extremes of the country, particularly in Valencia, where heavy downpours are possible. Temperatures will remain relatively stable, the snow level will hover around 1,800 meters, and dust will be present in the air.

Unsettled weather from midweek onwards

Next week's weather will be influenced by a pocket of cold air settling between the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa. This will initially bring a significant influx of suspended African dust, which will be particularly noticeable between Monday and Tuesday. This will result in rain that is quite muddy. Following Tuesday's showers, we could see more widespread showers between Wednesday and Thursday, with snow only in the higher elevations of the Pyrenees. Temperatures will remain relatively cool, without straying too far from the average.
