Today's extreme heat peak is leaving maximums of up to 40 ºC or more, not only in Ponent and the Ebro valley, but also in unusual areas, such as the pre-coastal and inland areas of Girona and Barcelona and Central Catalonia. So far, 42.4 ºC registered in Anglès (Selva) stands out.
