Sun and mild weather before the arrival of new showers

BarcelonaThe weekend has begun with weather more typical of the British Isles than of our home, with the passage of a front associated with an Atlantic low pressure system located in the west of the peninsula, which has brought rain to many regions since lunchtime. The rain will sweep across the entire country from south to north, especially during the afternoon and dusk, but no large accumulations are expected. On Sunday, calm and sunshine will once again dominate, with only a few afternoon showers expected towards the western half. The temperature will begin to rise from then on.

Sunday: more calm

After the unstable period on Saturday, the weather will change radically and on Sunday we will wake up with much more calm and sun, and with numerous fogs due to high humidity, although only during the first light of day. It will be a much more pleasant and peaceful day everywhere, with plenty of sun and temperatures that will clearly rise. Even so, in the afternoon new clouds will grow, leaving a more variable sky in general and more sun on the coast. From mid-afternoon and during sunset, new irregular showers and some local storms will arrive in the regions of Lérida, in Los Puertos, in the western Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees, and perhaps also in the southern pre-coastal area and in the Ebro.

Monday: showers in the Pyrenees

The week will begin with a very pleasant weather situation, still marked by the dominance of sunshine practically everywhere and with temperatures that will rise a little more. During the afternoon there will be cloudiness in the Pyrenees, with some showers in this sector of the country and also in the northeast. All of this, however, will be very minor. The highs will be around 25 °C to 26 °C in many places, with a typical early May atmosphere.
