At this point, there are showers in the western half of the country and the northeast, where they are locally accompanied by thunderstorms and hail. The Catalan Meteorological Service maintains a severe weather warning in La Garrotxa, Gironès, Pla de l'Estany, and the Baix and Alt Empordà regions.
