This afternoon's severe storms mainly affected the Maresme region, the Vallès Oriental region, and northern Barcelona. There were downpours that occasionally dumped more than 20 liters per square meter of hail or stones. The 112 hotline received more than 230 calls, and the fire department responded to more than 100 calls.
