Red alert activated for torrential downpours in the south of the country

Meteocat has issued a red alert for the risk of torrential downpours in the coming hours in the regions of Tarragonès, Baix Camp, Baix Ebre, and Montsià. Many other regions are also under yellow or orange warnings for heavy rain. More than 30 or 40 l/m² of precipitation can accumulate in just half an hour.
