Rain and storms in some places until dawn

The erratic showers and thunderstorms that reappeared this afternoon will continue to fall in some areas until the early hours. They will mainly affect coastal and pre-coastal areas of Barcelona and the northeast, with some locally strong storms. So far, the most notable rainfall has been 36 l/m² in the Bas Valley (Garrotxa), 21 in Sant Pau de Segúries (Ripollès), and 20 in the city of Girona. In recent hours, there have also been The first flouring of the season in the high altitudes of the Pyrenees. The weather will be calmer on Wednesday, but it won't clear up completely.
Temperatures dropped even further on Tuesday, with early morning temperatures remaining chilly for the time being. Maximum temperatures remained very low, with many values between 16 and 22°C, and the highest were recorded in the south due to the overheated mistral wind, with temperatures between 23 and 25°C. A full-autumn atmosphere will continue into Wednesday, with even slightly lower minimums. Right now, temperatures are about 4 or 5°C lower than expected for this time of year.

During the afternoon, evening, night, and into the early hours, some very irregular showers and thunderstorms may still fall in the regions of Girona and Barcelona and on the northern face of the Pyrenees. Wednesday: Too cool for the season
We'll wake up again to cold weather inland and a lot of cool weather near the sea. Minimum temperatures could even drop a few degrees further, with many values between 5 and 10°C inland, 10 to 15°C on the coast and the pre-coastal area, and below in mountain areas, with renewed frosts in the high Pyrenees. Maximum temperatures will remain relatively unchanged, with many readings between 16 and 22°C outside the Pyrenees. In short, another day with values clearly below average.
Mostly sunny in the southern half and from central Catalonia towards the west, but with some unstable conditions between Girona, Barcelona, and the Pyrenees. These areas will remain variable, with some cloudy skies and the risk of some fairly localized showers in the afternoon, especially around Montseny and Ripollès. Generally, there will be few showers on a holiday for many people, especially in the city of Barcelona. Mistral and tramontana winds will remain in the south and in the Empordà, especially during the first part of the day.
Autumn is here to stay
New showers may appear on Thursday between Girona and Barcelona, where highs will drop even further. Starting Friday, temperatures will gradually rise, and in the coming days they will simply return to normal, as we are currently very low. Therefore, the autumnal atmosphere will continue for the medium term. Despite the remnants of some showers in the Pyrenees and the northeast, the weather will remain generally calm.
