So far, the most notable rainfall has been 16 l/m² in Torredembarra (Tarragonès), 11 in Miami Platja (Baix Camp), 8 in Alfacs (Montsià), and 5 in Viladrau (Osona), but the weather has been fine. Wednesday: Time doesn't clear
During the early hours of the morning, the forecast showers and thunderstorms appeared on the southern coast of the country, as well as in some parts of the northeastern interior. Showers will continue to occur throughout the morning in the regions of Tarragona and Castellón, with local rainfall expected, particularly along the coast. Meteocat maintains its warnings for heavy rain on the southern coast, and Civil Protection has issued the Inuncat Plan alert. Rainfall in nearby areas, such as the southern regions of Barcelona and Ponent, is not ruled out. Therefore, rain could fall at some point in the Baix Ebre fire. More sunshine and calm weather will be expected in the north of the country, especially in the Pyrenees and the Lleida Pre-Pyrenees. In the afternoon, some weak, local showers will occur in the south and the eastern Pyrenees. However, showers and thunderstorms could occur occasionally towards the Valencian Community, especially inland.
All this with minimum temperatures that have risen significantly in many regions—especially in the center and south—due to increased cloud cover, although comfortable nightlife and good sleep have continued. Maximum temperatures will drop further in the southern half of the country due to the presence of clouds and humid maritime winds, but they will already begin to rise in the north, with a more marked increase in the Alt Pyrenees. Many highs again ranged from 26 to 31°C, a very moderate and bearable heat.
Conditions improve in fire zones
Today the weather conditions will be more favorable for extinguishing the fires. Yesterday afternoon the marinade entered the the Baix Ebre fire And the dry mistral wind is finally over. Humidity has risen slightly and will rise further throughout the day. Today, the maritime influence will continue, with a wind that shouldn't be surprising, although the same marine atmosphere may leave some moderate southeasterly gusts in the afternoon. A day with significant cloud cover is expected, which will slow temperatures that will remain below 30°C all day. Furthermore, the occasional shower can be expected in the area during the day.
the Anoia fireHumidity has been high overnight and will remain so for much of the day. Light winds in the morning and a southerly breeze in the afternoon with some moderate gusts. The temperature has remained very comfortable, between cool and mild, far from the warm temperatures of recent days. And today's high will also be shorter, with the heat at bay.
On Thursday, afternoon showers will be repeated in the Pyrenees, Pre-Pyrenees, nearby areas, and the Tarragona region. Uncertainty peaks from Friday onward and into the weekend, as weather models begin to more clearly portray the arrival of a pocket of cold air that would bring a wave of showers and thunderstorms to every region. A situation we'll have to wait and see. All this with temperatures set to rise, with more heat, but with no extremes in sight.
