Tuesday: New weather change
The passage of a new Atlantic front will bring changes this Tuesday. Cloud cover will be more prevalent everywhere, with partly to mostly cloudy skies, as well as morning fog inland. Rain will arrive in the Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees of Lleida from midday through the afternoon, along with some scattered, light showers or drizzle in the rest of the mountain range and in the western part of the region. Overall, little rain is expected, and most areas will remain dry.
The snow level will fluctuate between 1,200 and 1,400 meters, but accumulations will be modest, around 5 cm in the mid and high elevations of the Lleida Pyrenees, reaching up to 10 cm in some areas. A mistral wind will strengthen towards the south, and the tramontana wind will also arrive in the Empordà region by evening. Minimum temperatures will rise due to cloud cover, and the cold will be more moderate in the early morning. Maximum temperatures will remain similar and well-controlled, even dropping slightly in the Pyrenees. Many temperatures will range between 11°C and 16°C at midday, lower in mountainous areas.
