July ends very differently than it began.
The mercury will rise temporarily on Thursday, but it will be bearably warm, and more showers are expected starting Friday.

The last day of July will be marked by higher temperatures, but not extremes. Nothing like the heat wave that started the month. Therefore, today the atmosphere will be summery but very bearable considering we're in the middle of the summer heat, after another good night's sleep. The sun will dominate, although some cloudy patches will remain in coastal and pre-coastal regions, the northeast, and the Pyrenees. Any showers will be very isolated. Between tomorrow and Saturday, afternoon showers will increase in some regions, and temperatures will drop again. However, next week the heat will be more intense.
Thursday: quite calm
The weather will be fairly calm on the last day of July. A calm and sunny Thursday awaits us in most regions. However, there will once again be some cloudy patches on the coast and in the central pre-coast and in the Girona area, which will be harmless. In the afternoon, dark clouds will gather in the northeast and other mountain areas, leaving at most a few scattered showers in the Pyrenees and the eastern Pre-Pyrenees and in the Montseny area.
The northerly wind will weaken further, and even in the afternoon and evening, the north wind will temporarily halt in the Empordà region, where the wind will shift to the south. The mistral wind will only affect the Ebro until midday. Minimum temperatures have risen slightly, and maximum temperatures will also rise by a few degrees. Therefore, the heat will be more pronounced in the middle of the day, but far from extreme. Many temperatures will range between 26 and 31°C, with temperatures higher in the West and inland south.
More showers in the coming days
Between Friday and Saturday, instability will increase slightly, with showers and some afternoon thunderstorms expected in more regions. They will be erratic and will primarily affect parts of the northeast, the Pyrenees, the Pre-Pyrenees, the mountain passes, and the interior of the Valencian Country. All this with temperatures that will drop again on the first weekend of August.

However, everything seems to indicate that temperatures will rise sharply next week, and we'll leave this chilly spell behind us. It will be especially from Tuesday and Wednesday onwards that the mercury will rise most noticeably, with intense, dog-eat-dog heat and heavier nights. Temperatures will even be above average.
