ValenciaThe forest fire in Tírig, in the Alt Maestrat region, has been controlled by emergency services after four days of intense work and several meetings by the Cecopi, attended by the Minister of Emergencies and Interior, Juan Carlos Valderrama; the Government's delegate in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, and the President of the Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca.

The causes of the fire are being investigated, although everything points to them being natural. This is one of the four simultaneous fires that originated in the Castelló demarcation since Friday.

Fed up firefighters and insufficient resources

After the great fire in Vall d'Uixó, intentionally started, where the population was shocked by the loss of almost ten thousand hectares, becoming the second worst fire in the history of the demarcation, measures against these types of fires are increasingly monitored.

"I am alone"

On social media, Jaume, a firefighter who has claimed a lack of emergency devices, has been seen: "the fire is getting away from us because we can't cope," he explained in a video at the Tírig fire.
