Vinícius dances it again: "That's why everyone hates you"
The Brazilian Real Madrid player is once again at the center of a controversy that has angered players, coaches, and rival fans.

BarcelonaReal Madrid will go into Sunday's Clásico as the top team after a controversial victory at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez against a Getafe side that was hampered by Nyom's immediate dismissal after less than a minute on the pitch. It was with 15 minutes remaining when the home player made a mistake and blocked Vinícius's goal with his arm, but the incident only resulted in a yellow card. Munuero Montero showed him a straight red card, and VAR didn't review the incident. Two minutes later, Mbappé found the net—and scored his tenth La Liga goal—after a fine assist from Arda Güler.
Getafe would end up playing with nine, as in the 83rd minute they would suffer the expulsion of Álex Sancris for a second yellow card, and again with Vinícius in the middle, because it was him who committed the foul. Vinícius had already earned the indignation of the Coliseum, who whistled when he touched the ball and chanted "Beach ball", referring to the fact that two seasons ago he was left holding the bag when it was Manchester City's Rodri who would end up taking home the award, and the Brazilian, throwing a tantrum that dragged his entire team down, refused to go to the gala. With just 15 minutes, the Real Madrid player had had enough, the entire rival fans.
As usual, he had his share of clashes with opposing players, until Juan Iglesias was enough and made things clear after Sancris's sending-off. "That's why everyone hates you. Learn from your teammates," the Blues defender told Vinícius, pointing his finger at him, while Mbappé and Militao pulled him aside. "I'm very good. You talk too much," the Brazilian responded, as captured by Movistar cameras. "In football, there are many plays, many confrontations; they're part of the game, part of football... they always remain on the pitch. There are things that can't be allowed; you have to respect the opposite, respect the people, and when you don't respect it, these sparks fly and nobody likes it," Iglesias explained after the match.
Previously, Vinícius had also clashed with Getafe coach José Bordalás, whom the Real Madrid player, ironically, had congratulated for making the substitution that would bring on Nyom. The coach later complained that Vinícius had "provoked" him. Jorge Valdano, former Real Madrid player from 1984 to 1987 and former Real Madrid coach from 1994 to 1996, also spoke about the Brazilian in the post-match broadcast on Movistar. "We ask Vinícius to restrain himself in every game, especially with his gesticulation. It doesn't do any good for the team, for Vinícius, or for his image," said the former Real Madrid sporting director from 2003 to 2009.
