The Blaugrana took five and a half minutes to score their first basket, and Baskonia capitalized, building a 10-point lead (14-4). The home team's advantage grew to 13 points (25-12). The Catalan side responded with a burst of energy, scoring 31 points in the second quarter. The visitors went into halftime with a chance of victory (51-48). As the minutes ticked by, Barça's organization improved, and they gradually adopted a more reliable style of play (56-57). Will Clyburn displayed his shooting prowess, and the Catalan team took advantage of a 0-10 run to enter the final ten minutes in a favorable position (68-76). Baskonia tried to exploit Barça's weaknesses, but the visitors defended effectively. Joel Parra played with more consistency than usual.
