BarcelonaIsidro Navarro Gurumeta He is the Barça member who filed a lawsuit Friday night with the National Court requesting an investigation into possible criminal offenses related to the club's management over the past five years. In a written statement to ARA, Navarro wishes to clarify that he was removed from Barça membership in January 2025 "without any communication" from the club.

"I was recently told that I didn't renew my membership in person, something that wasn't communicated to me at the time, even though the club has my address, email, and phone number," says the member from La Mancha, who adds that he had been a member for 20 years when he left.

Navarro regrets that Barça informed him that he will "under no circumstances" be able to recover his old membership number and acknowledges that on Thursday, February 19th, he registered a new membership in person with number 150,107. "It should be clear that I'm not a new member, but a member with more than 25 years of membership. That's why I feel mistreated by my club, which I love almost as much as my own life," he adds.

Furthermore, Navarro considers it "almost offensive" that it's being said he has filed a complaint against Joan Laporta. "A complaint is technically bringing alleged criminal acts to the attention of a judge, without any further assessment beyond the facts provided to this authority, who will then decide whether or not the facts should be investigated, a process we are currently in," the member emphasizes, noting that he is not obligated to provide evidence at this time and is "acting in the best interests of Barcelona and Barça."
