The Generalitat (Catalan Government) will contribute 30 million euros through the tourist tax.

The 2031 Ryder Cup, to be held in Caldes de Malavella, was publicly presented at an event at the Camiral Golf and Wellness Center (Girona). The Minister for the Presidency, Albert Dalmau, announced a contribution of approximately €30 million from the Generalitat (Catalan Government), which will be funded "through the tourist tax."
