Madrid prepares exemplary economic sanctions for Valverde and Tchouaméni

But the Real Madrid coach, still surprised by what had just happened in the locker room, decided to stick to the planned schedule.
Real Madrid is experiencing an unprecedented sporting crisis, as the poor results on the field have been compounded by extreme tension in the locker room, with exchanges of reproaches and players coming to blows. José Ángel Sánchez, right-hand man of president Florentino Pérez, rushed to the sports city on Thursday, where he convened a crisis summit with the heavyweights of the dressing room to analyze the situation. The first consequence was the opening of a disciplinary file on the two footballers that, according to media outlets that regularly follow Real Madrid's news, will result in an exemplary financial sanction.
The madridista club's internal disciplinary code provides that, in exceptional cases like this, a suspension of salary and employment could be applied, which would entail not playing for some matches. However, Florentino's intention is not to apply this footballing fine and to leave it all as a monetary punishment. For the moment, the figures have not been disclosed, but it is speculated that the amount could be a millionaire one.
Tchouaméni could finally play in the classic
This way, Tchouaméni will be able to be on the Camp Nou pitch on Sunday, in a classic that could also end with the league title for Barça –the Catalan team has enough with winning or drawing–. On the other hand, Valverde will not be there, since, according to the protocol for concussion cases, it involves not playing for 10 to 14 days. According to published information, Valverde had to go to the hospital to receive stitches and left the locker room in a wheelchair, visibly dizzy.
From here on, and depending on how Friday's training goes, Real Madrid will have to decide whether to stick to the planned travel schedule or modify it. Initially, the Whites – without the president, who will not be travelling – were scheduled to fly to Barcelona on Saturday afternoon, but they might go on Sunday, match day. On the other hand, it is not clear whether Arbeloa will hold the pre-match press conference. The coach is obliged to do so according to League regulations, although the club is considering skipping it and accepting the corresponding fine.
Carreras' and Rüdiger's conflicts and Mbappé's injury
The fight between Valverde and Tchouaméni has eclipsed the other two fires that were in the Madrid locker room. One of them, the fight that also occurred between Carreras and Rüdiger, in which their teammates had to separate them. It was not an isolated incident, but rather had already occurred at other times during the season, until it finally ended with an alleged slap from the German to the Galician full-back.
