BarcelonaBarça culminated a historic night to remember. The 2-0 victory allows the azulgranas to conquer the 29th League in their history, the second consecutive one since Hansi Flick's arrival at the bench. The Camp Nou experienced a night full of joy in what was a party from the first moment. Rashford and Ferran Torres put the 2-0 just after the start of the match against a Real Madrid that closed a week to forget —with internal fights included— seeing how the eternal rival won (and lifted) the League right in front of their noses.

The Camp Nou —which witnessed the first title celebration after the renovation— erupted with "champions" chants in the final minutes of the match, while the Barcelona players on the bench joined in by jumping from the sidelines. Lamine Yamal, who could not be on the pitch due to injury, also put on the Barcelona jersey before going out to celebrate the triumph with his teammates on the pitch, and fireworks colored the Barcelona sky.

Pau Cubarsí led the chants with the stands of encouragement. The center-back from Estanyol grabbed the megaphone to sing the "match day" while Raphinha accompanied him with the drum. After the match, Hansi Flick —supported by his players— admitted that it had been a difficult day for him after the loss of his father. "I will never forget it. It has been hard, but my team is fantastic. We are a family".

A few minutes later, Rafael Louzán —president of the Spanish Federation— and Javier Tebas —head of La Liga— led the presentation of the League title on the pitch, along with Joan Laporta —president-elect—, Rafa Yuste —president of Barça— and Joan Soteras —head of the Catalan Federation—. Ronald Araujo was in charge of lifting the champions' trophy while the chant for the 125th anniversary played over the PA system. "Never in history has the League been won against Real Madrid. It has been very beautiful and now it's time to celebrate it with family and friends," said Pedri.

Catalonia Square takes over from Canaletes

With the Canaletas fountain area closed due to construction, thousands of culés —and some tourists— gathered in Plaça Catalunya to celebrate the League title. Some came with cones, in reference to the nickname of Álvaro Arbeloa, coach of Real Madrid. In a festive atmosphere, with much jubilation, flares were also seen and the energy was intact to celebrate in grand style the championship won head-to-head against the white team.

Those who also did not want to miss the party in the center of Barcelona were Alejandro Balde and Marc Casadó, who was already at Canaletes last season. The two azulgranas players surrounded themselves with the fans to celebrate the League all together.

The classic bike ride of some footballers couldn't be missing either. If last year Pedri, Dani Olmo, Eric García and Íñigo Martínez cycled to the hospital where Ferran Torres was after being operated on for appendicitis, this year the first three (Pedri, Olmo and Eric) repeated the route through the streets of Barcelona.

Araujo begins the talks

After the first celebrations, Ronald Araujo was in charge of opening the round of speeches as captain. The Uruguayan —who delivered part of the speech in Catalan— highlighted the team's character. "It has been a year of a lot of work and effort, with good times and bad times. We have a very young team, but with a lot of talent and bravery. We are sure that great moments will come," expressed Araujo, who closed the speech with a "Visca el Barça and visca Catalunya!".

Hansi Flick used the same phrase to close his speech, which began with a "Bona nit, culers" and in which he thanked the support of the president, the coaching staff, and the players after a difficult day for him due to the death of his father. The German coach, who did not want to elaborate too much in order to continue celebrating the title, addressed the fans in English before starting the lap of honor under a light show at the Camp Nou. The first congratulations were not long in coming, and one of the most notable (and expected) was from Leo Messi, who posted a story on Instagram with a "Campions" and a "Visca el Barça!".

The street through Barcelona

The celebrations don't stop, and this Monday afternoon Barça will celebrate the League with the traditional parade through the streets of the Catalan capital. The bus with the players and the coaching staff will leave Camp Nou at 5:00 PM and will advance along Travessera de les Corts to Numància street. Afterwards, it will continue along Berlín street and París street until reaching Balmes. From there, the procession will go down to Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and will head, towards the city center, to Passeig de Gracia. The parade will continue up Passeig de Gracia to the height of La Pedrera (Casa Milà). The return journey will be made along Provença street to Aribau, and will connect again with París street and Sarrià avenue until reaching Travessera de les Corts to finish at Camp Nou.
