Barring any unforeseen events or plot twists, the Primera División's return to Camp Nou will be on the weekend of September 13-14 for Matchday 4, against Valencia, after La Liga finally accepted the Blaugrana's request to play all three matches away from home.
102 kilometers separate the facilities of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, better known as the Ciudad del Fútbol (City of Football), from Las Rozas, and San Juan de la Nava, the town in Ávila that hosted the draw for the schedule of the main Spanish football competitions (Liga Santander, Liga Santander, Liga Hypermotion, and Primera Hypermotion for men's and women's futsal).
For another year, Barça vs. Real Madrid will once again be played in October. This trend, which has continued since the pandemic, will be repeated for the sixth consecutive season. The duel between the two top title contenders will be on October 25 or 26 at Real Madrid's home. The second leg match, on the other hand, will be at Camp Nou on May 9 or 10, three rounds from the end of the season.
As for the derbies, Joan Garcia will return to the RCDE Stadium On January 3 or 4, in another clash marked in red on the calendars of the Catalans and the Pericos. The clash at Camp Nou will be on April 11 or 12. Hansi Flick's team's other match against a Catalan team will be on October 18 or 19 in Barcelona, while Girona will host Barça at Montilivi on February 14 or 15.

A start to the season marked by international breaks
As usual, the calendar is influenced by international breaks. There will be four in total, three of them clustered together in the first half of the season. We won't have to wait long for the first. After only three La Liga matches have been played, the competition will be halted for nine days (between September 1 and 9). A month later (from October 6 to 14) there will be another interruption, while before the end of the year (November 10-18) there will be the third international window.
Between December 23 and January 2, La Liga will close for Christmas. All to gather strength and energy for a match-packed start to 2026. On January 4, the penultimate matchday of the first half of the season will take place, the 18th, before Barça, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, and Athletic Club travel to Saudi Arabia to compete in the Spanish Super Cup (January 7-11). The last international break will be from March 23 to 31.
There will also be three midweek matchdays. The first will be early, on September 24 (August 27 for teams competing in the Europa League). The second will take place on April 22, ahead of the Copa del Rey final on Friday, April 25, and the last will fall on May 13, with only three matches remaining in the competition.
The Madrid women's team will return to Barcelona in November.
The draw held in San Juan de la Nava also revealed the Liga F schedule. The Blaugrana will begin their title defense on the last weekend of August at Johan against Alhama de Murcia. Pere Romeu's team will close out the competition at home to Real Madrid CFF.
Among the highlights is the clash against Real Madrid, who, with a change of coach (Pau Quesada), will look to get closer to the Catalans. The Whites will return to Barcelona, where they stormed Montjuïc last year, on the weekend of November 15-16. Barça, meanwhile, will visit the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium on March 28 or 29.
