For the first time in history, the club is placed in first position ahead of Real Madrid and Manchester United. Forbes prepares this list annually, which takes into account television deals, contracts with players and expenses, among other parameters.
The 20 most valuable football teams in the world have an average value of $2.28 billion each, up 30% from two years ago, the last time the ranking was published. The list is as follows: Barça ($4.76 billion), Real Madrid ($4.75 billion), Bayern Munich ($4.215 billion), Manchester United ($4.2 billion) and Liverpool ($4.1 billion).
