BarcelonaAlvaro Arbeloa, Real Madrid's coach, stated in a press conference that he will not "burn his players in a public bonfire" and believes that neither Aurélien Tchouaméni nor Fede Valverde deserve the treatment they are receiving after the two fights between them that ended with the Uruguayan in the hospital and a fine of 500,000 euros each.

"I have to say two things. First, that I am very proud of the club's decisiveness, speed, and transparency. And second, that the players have expressed their remorse, acknowledged their mistake, accepted the consequences of what they have done, and asked for forgiveness. I will not burn the players in a bonfire," he commented at a press conference monopolized by the incident in the Real Madrid dressing room.

"For things that happen in the dressing room to be leaked is a betrayal of Real Madrid. And it saddens me greatly," Arbeloa said at a press conference, who did not want to "accuse" or "point" to the origin of these leaks.

"I am not accusing the players or anyone, because I cannot do so. There are many people around the Real Madrid dressing room and I am not here to accuse anyone. I try to set an example, and my private conversations stay between the players and me."
