The winery organizes on July 4th the first edition of Summer Lots
On July 4th, Celler Masroig will kick off the first edition of Les Sorts d'Estiu, a new proposal that aims to vindicate the value of summer nights in Priorat through wine, gastronomy, and live music. The initiative is born with the intention of offering an experience open to all audiences, capable of uniting tradition and celebration in a privileged environment with wine and cava at the center of it all. An invitation to take a break and share quality time in one of the most emblematic wine landscapes in the country.
Les Sorts d'Estiu proposes a different way to experience the territory: at the winery, glass in hand, and with the complicity of a summer night that promises to extend among conversations, toasts, and music.
Wine and cava fair
Wine will be the great protagonist of the evening. Attendees will be able to taste a wide representation of the ranges from Celler Masroig, wines that express the character of a landscape marked by winemaking tradition and a commitment to quality. The experience will be completed with a special selection of Tres Naus cavas, a fresh and festive proposal designed to accompany a night conceived for celebration. Beyond the tasting, the event is also proposed as an opportunity to bring wine culture closer to all types of audiences, both to those who are knowledgeable and to those who simply seek to discover new flavors in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Gastronomy for all tastes
The gastronomic proposal has been conceived to complement the wine offer and provide alternatives for all palates. Attendees will find the hamburgers, sandwiches, and tapas from Pepito Bravo; the popular smash burgers and hot dogs from Garret's Food; the grilled dishes, cured meats, and selected cheeses from Càtering de Nogales, and the sweetest offering from La Menuda, with ice creams, smoothies, crepes and pastries. A diverse offer that invites sharing table and conversation, two indispensable ingredients of any summer celebration.
Live music
Music will be the other great guiding thread of the night. The programming will begin with a DJ set that will set the rhythm for the first tastings and contribute to creating a relaxed and festive atmosphere. It will be the ideal moment to enjoy good wine and food and, above all, to meet people. As in other celebrations at Celler Masroig, the audience is expected to include everyone from winegrowers to lifelong farmers, as well as younger people who love authentic experiences. Next, it will be the turn of the group Las Locas del Panda, who will take the stage to unleash their versions of somewhat mischievous pop and rock that invite you to sing, dance, and extend the party well into the night.
Doors will open at 7:00 PM and the DJ set will start at 7:30 PM. Las Locas del Panda will start at 10:00 PM.
More than a hundred years
El Celler Masroig was founded in 1917 and is one of the cooperative wineries with the longest history and deepest roots in Priorat. Located in the municipality of El Masroig, in the heart of the DO Montsant, the winery is the result of the collective effort of several generations of winegrowers who have made respect for the land and passion for wine the pillars of their identity. Among the many great wines from Celler Masroig, Les Sorts Les Vinyes stands out, an award-winning wine made from old vines, some over sixty years old, which represents the essence of Montsant: depth, elegance, and authenticity.
