Espavila't, the 9th edition of the Marrameu Festival, a storytelling and street performance festival in Torrelameu, concludes today. A celebration of culture in small towns, filling the streets with magic and performances, with a program for the littlest members of the family to have a great time, for everyone. Most of the events are free, and in exceptional cases, you will need to purchase a ticket to the show for €3.

Ten years ago, the members of Els Amics de les Arts created Festivalot, thinking of the festival they would want to attend with their children. This is Girona's family music festival, which features musical offerings and music-related activities of different styles. A glance at the program quickly reveals that they've found the right balance so that everyone has more than a few generational attractions to attend and can also make new discoveries: Blaumut, Ludwig Band, Doctor Prats, Higo Flawas, El Pot Petit, Los Beta, Dàmaris Gelabert, GiroCello Gerona. Half of the offerings are free, and the rest require a ticket.

The Àneu Valleys have also had their own family festival for 18 years. The Esterri d'Àneu Town Council organizes this Esbaiola't with street performing arts for all audiences. Quality culture from our country and around the world with an intense and varied program of circus, puppetry, dance, games, workshops, music, and theater, in an unbeatable landscape and setting. True to the spirit of a festival for all audiences, they embrace diversity with an accessibility guide for the spaces, a TEA guide, signage with pictograms, and adherence to the Apropa Cultura program, which works to improve the lives of people in vulnerable situations.

Do you feel like traveling back in time with your family? With Familiaria, it's very simple. Just show up at the Empúries site and you'll feel like you've stepped back at least a couple of millennia with the recreation of Roman life they organize. They have workshops where registration is required to learn basket-making, pottery, body percussion, playing a Roman musical instrument, canning anchovies, practicing medieval writing, or setting up a Roman camp. There are also activities without registration, such as the discovery treasure hunt, storytelling, or a Lali BeGood concert. It will be hard to resist such a tempting offer in such a charming setting.
