Reaching 40 years in a family business today is no easy feat. The story of this company dates back to 1986 when Miquel Pàmies, a professional tour guide, decided to strike out on his own and create an agency whose unique features made it stand out at the time: group tours, guided from Barcelona, with all visits, services, meals, and excursions included.

The Taj Mahal, in India, one of the seven wonders of the modern world.

The Eurovacations Travel project isn't focused on a specific destination, but rather on a way of working with different destinations. For 40 years, they have taken their travelers to every continent, always aiming for a complete customer experience encompassing cultural, historical, visual, experiential, and gastronomic aspects. And not only complete, but also as comfortable as possible, with carefully selected hotels and restaurants, and the added value of an experienced guide from Barcelona and trusted contacts in the various destinations. Because travel is a tool for limitless personal enrichment, and Eurovacations understands this perfectly.

All destinations, all experiences

In Asia and Oceania, travelers have enjoyed Eurovacations' offerings, from classic destinations like Vietnam and Japan to more adventurous ones such as Papua New Guinea, North Korea, and Kamchatka. Next year, their program will take you to discover both southern and northern India, as well as Laddakh, one of the most fascinating regions of the Indian Himalayas. You can also explore the most renowned parts of China, as well as the lesser-known Chinese Silk Road, including the Xinjiang autonomous region, which can be combined with a trip to more famous destinations along this trade route, such as Samarkand in Uzbekistan. Special mention should be made of the trips to Polynesia, both cruises and land-based excursions, as well as those that take you to discover the archipelagos of Indonesia and the Philippines, and the grand tours to Australia and New Zealand, and to countries constantly innovating, such as Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

Asia, South India, Laos, Indonesia and Malaysia.

In the Americas, 2026 offers the opportunity to explore Alaska by cruise aboard one of HX Expeditions' newest ships, the Seward-based expedition cruise ship MS Roald Amundsen, based in Vancouver. Other options include a coast-to-coast itinerary in Canada or the popular combination of Chicago and the southern United States, discovering Texas and Louisiana. Further south, destinations like Guatemala, the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, Peru, and the legendary Machu Picchu and Yucatán in Mexico are captivating. Even further south, two must-do journeys await: Chilean and Argentinian Patagonia, with the unforgettable experience of sailing aboard the Skorpios among glaciers and fjords. And then there's the journey to the world's longest country, Chile, a route of contrasts. From the unique Easter Island to the mountainous landscape of Torres del Paine, with its three iconic granite monoliths, culminating in the vast Salar de Atacama.

America, Canada and Easter Island.

Eurovacances has also taken travelers to the seventh continent, Antarctica, offering different itineraries over the years, from the shortest at twelve days to the longest at around twenty-five days, which also include South Georgia and the controversial history of the Falkland Islands. These trips are supported by the Norwegian shipping company HX, aboard state-of-the-art vessels with a focus on the protection and conservation of the planet, especially in these locations.

Victoria Falls in Zambia and Zimbabwe, Timkat in Estopia; Madagascar and the volcanic archipelago of Cape Verde; the Valley of the Kings in Egypt; the cinematic landscapes of Chott el Garsa in Tunisia; Petra in Jordan; and the Atlas Mountains in Morocco are also popular destinations.

South Africa

Europe, a destination with a wide range of options

In Europe, the range of destinations offered by Eurovacances is endless. At this time of year, with the Christmas holidays approaching, the Christmas markets in Central Europe—in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria—are unforgettable, as are summers in Iceland or Norway to witness the midnight sun. Or consider autumn, like the changing colors of the forests in the Aosta Valley in Italy or the Baltic States, or spring in the Netherlands to admire the tulips in bloom.

Àlex Pàmies, CEO of Eurovacances Travel, emphasizes how these forty years of history have strengthened the company's ability to adapt to new technologies and tourism trends, reflecting its perseverance in the face of challenges and difficult times experienced by the sector, all while maintaining the company's core values. These are values shared by all Eurovacances staff, from the reservations team to administration, sales, marketing, and management—a team without which Eurovacances would not have reached its current position as a benchmark in the sector.

In a constantly changing world, where companies transform, disappear, or merge at great speed, Viatges Eurovacances continues to offer unique experiences worldwide and is committed to another 40 years of shared journeys.
