CaixaBank becomes a strategic partner of the Tarraco Arena
CaixaBank users will be able to enjoy preferential access to tickets and discounts on events at the new CaixaBank Tarraco Arena, a space dedicated to music and culture.
CaixaBank and Tarraco Arena have signed a strategic collaboration agreement, through which the emblematic Tarragona performance venue has been renamed CaixaBank Tarraco Arena. The agreement is part of the Xperience CaixaBank program, the bank's experiential ecosystem whose objective is to bring culture and entertainment to its customers and enhance the musical and cultural offerings for society. This collaboration represents a step forward in the shared desire to promote access to culture and boost the region's musical offerings.
Thanks to this agreement, which came into effect on September 1 and has begun to be implemented to coincide with the start of the new performance season, CaixaBank customers will be able to enjoy exclusive benefits when purchasing tickets for shows scheduled at CaixaBank Tarraco Arena, such as the CaixaBank Tarraco Arena, such as unique benefits linked to the events.
CaixaBank's regional director in Catalonia, Josep Maria González, emphasized that this agreement reflects the bank's commitment to culture as a driver of social cohesion and economic growth. "We are very proud to link the CaixaBank name to such an emblematic space as the Tarraco Arena," he expressed during the presentation ceremony.
Impact for Tarragona
The agreement also has a significant impact on Tarragona, which is strengthened as a cultural and musical landmark thanks to this new phase of the Tarraco Arena. The Mayor of Tarragona, Rubén Viñuales, praised the collaboration and highlighted the strength of cooperation between the public and private sectors in fostering the city's cultural dynamic. Viñuales celebrated the agreement, stating that "it is fantastic news for Tarragona because it reinforces the city's position as a cultural and musical landmark." For his part, the Director of Tarraco Arena, Jesús Féliz, added that "the alliance with CaixaBank allows us to make a qualitative leap in our programming and in the audience experience. It is great news for the city and for all music lovers."
The agreement was presented on September 17th at an event held at the Tarraco Arena, which was attended by representatives from institutions and the cultural world. The event was enlivened with a musical performance by Anna de Marfil, who provided the artistic touch to a day filled with emotion and commitment to culture.
This partnership not only represents a transformation in the space's identity, but also an increase in its capacity to boost the city of Tarragona's cultural offerings. With this change, the Tarraco Arena aims to consolidate its position as one of the region's main cultural and musical meeting points.
