Bridal, gala and red carpet fashion at the most international Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week

From April 22 to 24, the lounge brings together at the Montjuïc venue nearly 420 brands from 37 countries and 34 designers on the catwalk in its most exclusive edition.

Bridal white returns to Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, but also vibrant red, electric blue, emerald green, fuchsia, striking yellow, sequins or gala satins and all the intense colors of the red carpet. One more year, Bridal will become an essential meeting point to discover the market and the trends that will mark the 2027 season, and not only for bridal fashion, but also for party, gala, and accessories.

Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2026 will bring together for five days major names in haute couture, emerging designers, influencers, and industry professionals. From April 22 to 26, halls 1, 2, and 8 of Fira de Barcelona's Montjuïc venue will host the most transversal, international, and exclusive edition of BBFW. Organized by Fira de Barcelona, it will feature approximately 420 brands and 34 designers on the runway, thus consolidating its position as a world-leading platform in the sector, as well as reinforcing the city's projection as a global capital of fashion and creativity.

Under the slogan “On the shoulders of giants”, which pays homage to visible and anonymous figures who have contributed to building this industry, the salon aims to project diversity and internationality and reinforces its positioning as an event capable of integrating fashion, business, and culture in the same space.

"BBFW 2026 will once again place the creations of great designers in the spotlight of the fashion world, will boost art, talent and creativity, and will highlight the enormous work behind each piece – explains Albasarí Caro, the director of the fair–. At the same time, it will strengthen the industry's ability to open up to new horizons, discover markets with high potential, and generate real opportunities for brands in an increasingly global and competitive context."

The 2027 collections on the catwalk

The edition will kick off with the catwalk, which from April 22 to 24 will showcase more than 1,000 creations by 34 designers, 60% of whom are international. Among the notable names in the Spanish industry are Yolancris and Isabel Sanchís, alongside international references such as Peter Langner and Demetrios.

The transversality of styles and origins will allow for a global panorama where renewed classicism, contemporary experimentation, and new narratives of bridal and evening wear coexist.

Stéphane Rolland, protagonist

One of the most anticipated moments will be the Barcelona Bridal Night, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary on the night of April 22 with the Spanish debut of Stéphane Rolland, who will present a haute couture collection conceived as a unique spectacle of music, fashion, and art, with 80 sculptural pieces, architectural silhouettes, and a masterful treatment of fabrics.

The Young Symphony Orchestra of Barcelona, conducted by Carlos Checa, will play a prominent role in the evening. In addition, students from IED Barcelona, LCI Barcelona, and ESDI have developed 23 creations under the mentorship of the French designer with fabrics donated by Gratacós. These dresses will open Rolland's fashion show next Wednesday.

The most international commercial showcase

The trade show, from April 24 to 26, consolidates BBFW as a key commercial hub with nearly 420 brands – 87% of which are international – from 37 countries, especially the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Ukraine, and Poland.

Among these brands, Spanish firms such as Marco & María or Cortana stand out; American firms such as Maggie Sottero, Morilee, Allure Bridals, and Justin Alexander, or the Australian J. Andreatta.

European firms such as Caroline Castigliano, Sassi Holford, or Rembo also participate, along with haute couture houses such as Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad, Georges Hobeika, Viktor & Rolf, Antonio Riva, or Jenny Packham.

Asia reinforces its role with firms such as The Atelier by Prof. Jimmy Choo, Serina Bridal, Kiyoko Hata, Wang Feng, Vaishali S, or JoliPoli.

Commitment, social value and strategic allies

BBFW 2026 is committed to sustainability and strengthens its social dimension with initiatives such as the collaboration with the Kalida Foundation, which will receive 100% of the proceeds from the sale of 22 original sketches donated by Stéphane Rolland to support people with cancer from its center at Hospital de Sant Pau. The event also promotes merchandise products made by the Ared Foundation to foster the labor integration of women in vulnerable situations.Brands such as Kevin Murphy and MAC Cosmetics will be responsible for styling and makeup, while Aire Ancient Baths will offer wellness spaces. As for accommodation, Grand Hyatt Barcelona, Almanac Barcelona, SLS Barcelona, and Nobu Hotel Barcelona. The scenography will feature the floral intervention of Araik Galstyan and the infrastructure of Losberger De Boer, while Crimons will provide the furniture. Finally, Bolt and Fever-Tree will be the transfer service and the official cocktail of the event, respectively.
