The same sources explain that, based on the shopping center's surveillance cameras, the young man had been wandering around the center looking for a place to jump from. A witness who witnessed the events also explains that the young man spent some time looking down and to the sides from the second floor before jumping. However, the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) have not yet confirmed any hypothesis. The investigation is being conducted by the Ciutat Vella district police station.
