Two people arrested in Tortosa for defrauding an elderly man of more than 143,000 euros.

The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) have arrested a couple, aged 39 and 34, in Tortosa, accused of defrauding a 76-year-old man with a neurodegenerative disease and limited mobility of more than €143,000. According to the police, they took advantage of his vulnerability to manage his pension without his consent.
