Two men arrested for killing another in a farmhouse in Reus

BarcelonaNew crime in Catalonia. The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested two men, aged 46 and 79, for their alleged involvement in the violent death of another man in Reus, in the Baix Camp region. The homicide took place this Saturday around two in the afternoon, when the Mossos received notice of a fight inside a farmhouse in Reus.

Several units of citizen security from the Catalan police rushed to the scene, and upon arrival, located the lifeless body of a man with signs of violence. Two other men were also found at the scene, one of whom attempted to flee at the sight of the police. For now, according to initial police information, it would not be a family conflict. At the moment, the police do not have a clear hypothesis about the motive for the assault, which would not have been carried out with a firearm.

The Criminal Investigation Division has opened an investigation and the case is currently under seal.
