A traffic accident in Lloret ends with blows from a trowel and an axe.

BarcelonaA traffic accident that ends with a shovel and an axe. This is what happened on Saturday on the seafront in Lloret de Mar, in the La Selva region. While it was still daylight, at 7:30 p.m., two vehicles collided. Although it is still unclear because the investigation is ongoing, according to sources consulted by ARA, everything points to the collision not being accidental. It was a side collision, and one car scraped the other. Be that as it may, one vehicle had three occupants and the other had four. They were people who knew each other and, according to initial hypotheses, had some unfinished business.

After the collision, the occupants of both vehicles got into an argument that became complicated when a shovel and an axe were taken from one of the cars (the one with three occupants). Shortly after, they attacked one of the occupants of the other vehicle, who was not the driver. The man was injured, although his life is not in danger.

The scene quickly filled with local police, and minutes later, the Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a 49-year-old woman, believed to be the driver of the car from which the shovel and axe were taken. The Mossos d'Esquadra, however, are looking for the other two occupants to arrest them.

The trigger of the fight is still unclear, and those involved are not helping. According to police sources, neither the victim nor the detainee are clarifying what happened. What is clear to the Mossos d'Esquadra is that they knew each other and some conflict motivated the fight and even the car accident, which is being investigated as an intentional collision.
