The Supreme Court awards more than 3 million euros in compensation for negligence during childbirth in Barcelona.

The Supreme Court has ordered Sanitas to pay more than €3 million in compensation to a woman for medical negligence that caused irreversible neurological injuries to her baby during birth on April 23, 2005, at the Dexeus Hospital in Barcelona. The child has a 94% disability.
