This Tuesday, the Department of Education proposed to the unions that the next school year begin on Tuesday, September 8th. Furthermore, the department's proposal also suggests that this date be maintained for the following two school years (2027-2028 and 2028-2029). In a statement, the Department of Education also details that for intermediate and advanced vocational training, specialization courses, specific training pathways, training and job placement programs, and preparatory training courses, September 14th, 2026 is proposed. Regarding the other dates, the Christmas break would be from December 24th, 2026 to January 10th, 2027, inclusive; And during Holy Week, the holidays would take place between March 20th and 29th, 2027, both dates included.
