Tensions are brewing between Girona City Council and the regional government over the Jordi Vilamitjana Park, which is being affected by the future Josep Trueta Campus. In the third supplementary loan, the PSC (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party) and Comuns (Communists) have agreed to provide funding to preserve it if expropriations are necessary, but the council views this as "a territorial disloyalty."
