With the resignation of Josep Lluís Trapero and the retirement of chief commissioner Miquel Esquius, a new stage opened for the force, formed by Ferran López as director and Sílvia Catà as head of the force. With the creation of this new tandem in the force, more internal changes were expected. Some have been announced today.
