A man who barricaded himself in Madrid's Gran Vía has been arrested.

Police have arrested a man who had barricaded himself in an apartment on the central Montera Street, off Madrid's Gran Vía, according to Efe. The man, with a police record, was subdued. He was threatening to explode a butane gas cylinder.
